Wipe Animation, text link issue
Hi,
When I add a wipe from left to right for text with a hyperlink (underlined), the underline wipes first, then the link text.
Anyone have this issue? Why won't the entire link wipe at the same time?
Thanks,
ST
I just did a test and can't replicate it. Can you share the slide?

Looks like a bug that happens when a block of text is set to animate by paragraph. I was able to replicate that.
I'll report it to the support team. If the text is broken into separate lines it doesn't seem to do the same line animation, so that it a work around for now.

OK, thanks for your help!
One other thing that works (sort of) so you don't have to rework the text, remove the underlines from the URL. You could make the text BOLD and have them standout that way.

I have the same problem with the underlined text and wipe animation by paragraph. Any news regarding fixes for that?

Hi Tsvety,
Thanks for the follow-up! I don’t currently have any updates, but you are now subscribed to this conversation which means as we share any news here, you’ll automatically be notified.
You can try Tom's suggestion above as a workaround in the meantime.

Thanks, Ren, for your reply, however this is not an option - the client wants certain words to be both "bold and underlined". It's not a website link or email address. The only workaround is to manually separate the text by paragraphs and animate them manually :(

Hi all
not sure if this thread is still active but I also have this issue with underlined text displaying first in any paragraph if I apply the animation Wipe from top by paragraph. The underlined text always displays first regardless of where in the line or on what line it is positioned within the paragraph. This has been going on consistently for quite some time and it is getting rather annoying to say the least.
Hi Julie!
I'm so sorry to hear you've also been affected by this issue!
I don't have any updates to share at this time as our development team has been prioritizing other fixes, but I've included you in the bug report. We'll be sure to update this discussion as soon as a fix is in place.
In the meantime, for your reference, here's a deeper look at how we tackle bugs.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
