I am uploading assessments from storyline360. When going through the xAPI statements, why are there duplicates of each statement? Some 2 times, some up to 4 times..
I am not using custom xAPI statements, as storyline already has pre-built within their projects.
Hi Clifton, I'll let the Articulate staff comment on the number of transactions, but I'm just chiming in to let you know you wont be able to suppress any of those transactions unless you start doing extensive work on the API.
This is a good question though as I've seen that some LRS providers do charge based on volume of statements, so you wouldn't want to be seeing large volumes of redundant transactions (not good for traffic in general).
Can I ask if you've checked your slides to see if certain actions or events get triggered more than once? Based on your screenshot, it looks like the duplicate items have slightly different timestamps, indicating that they aren't exact duplicates, but possibly events that occurred in quick succession.
Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!
