I have figured out the Zoom region and have used it effectively in a course. The participants have asked for a way to control that themselves so they can look at a drawing with greater detail, as if it under a magnifying glass. Is that possible?

There isn't a built in functionality for Storyline that would have that behavior, so if someone has created something similar using states of objects I hope that they're able to share that here with you.
Also just an FYI replying via email includes your signature here in the thread - so if you want to edit the post you can remove that information.

Hi, When you go to Insert, there is a Zoom Region option. I have not used it, but you may search the tutorials to learn more.

Hi Eric,
Anna already pointed you in the right direction. :)

Lots of good information in that discussion.
