Branching, but still seeing every slide

I want to have some branching in this module, but at the same time, I want every slide visited. It's exploring a new machine, so what I did was have it to where there were arrows letting you go to different parts of the machine. These occur in groups of two and then they meet up again at a third slide.
How do I make it to where, let's say, you pick slide 2 first, now, there's an arrow on slide 2 and I want that arrow to take me to slide 1 if I haven't been to it yet, and if I have, take me to slide 3.
Does that make sense?

You could set a menu that changes as you visit each section. Or branch but keep it on rails. So you unlock each section as they complete the last. Thereby you give the illusion of branching and free will but you actually control the experience
What do you mean, keep it on rails?
Hate to bump threads, but I still have no idea what to do here.
If you have a menu slide that unlock each section as they complete the previous one, you will give the illusion of branching.
Otherwise you need to plan out a menu structure that does not get the user lost, and ensure that you explain the route to the user
Ashley,
Have a look at the attached.
As Phil says - the perception of branching and choice, but total control/linear behaviour.
Could easily be adapted to do what you want.
Hope this helps.

Oh, I quite like that. And it's a nice way to show progress.
Thanks guys!
Huh, I am about to lose my mind. I liked what you did with the circle menu, so I tried to do something like it. However, for the life of me, I can not get the variable t/f to work. Is there some secret to making this work? My project is set up exactly the same as yours...
Try the ORDER of the Variables - check that the "actions" take place before the "jump back to menu".
Very important.
