508 Compliance Training?

What are some training courses available for those of us creating E-Learning courses.  I have a few courses right now, but I am not sure how to change them into a 508 Compliant Course.

Hi Helena. 

While I'm not aware of any courses on Section 508 compliance that are specifically targeted to e-learning designer/developers, you might find that the following resources are helpful for getting up to speed:

  1. 6 Best Practices for Designing Accessible E-Learning (FREE) eBook: This is an all-around great resource for getting up to speed on 508 compliance.
  2. Adding Alternative Text for Screen Readers: This is an in-depth how-to article that walks through the steps for setting up Alt text in Articulate Storyline.
  3. Articulate Storyline and Section 508 Accessibility: This is a detailed feature list  detailing Storyline's support of Section 508.
