My firm is making a real push to develop accessible courses going forward. In the past, I have often used the pre-built Storyline Interaction templates. If, say, you use a Tabs template, does anyone know if the tabs are accessible to a screen reader? I think the templates typically feature grouped images, so I didn't know if a reader would find each item in the grouped image individually, or if it would read it as a single image.
The template interactions aren't currently accessible, but we're overhauling the templates with accessibility in mind. My team just completed our first round of accessibility updates to the templates (you'll notice, for example, that the tab focus order on most of the slides has been updated and decorative items removed from focus). Our next step is to start tackling the interactions to improve their accessibility. We're hoping to start that work soon!
