Advice for a package that has SCORM output

Hi Guys
We are currently creating a e-learning website that as it's end result needs to output the resulting data of online quizzes and tests to update an individuals profile.
Our first choice when we began the project was Adobe Captivate 4. This then changed to the Articulate suite of products which we felt was much better to work with and the results were fantastic.
We now learn though that Articulate is unable to output data in a SCORM format that would update an exisiting website profile so we are now considering reviewing Captivate 5.5 which we understand went through a major rewrite and can certainly do what is required.
Any thoughts, comments or recommendations around this or has anyone adapted Articulate so that it can function this way?

articulate outputs in scorm 1.2 and scorm 2004, as far as updating a profile that would be up to your website or lm to ensure it is scorm compliant
Thanks Phil - I'm just wondering if I'm asking the right question as our website development team spoke to someone from Articulate who confirmed their output could not be exported in a format that would be available for our use yet Adobe Captivate's was.
I'll seek some further information and perhaps rephrase if required because we have done quite a bit of work in Articulate and it is definitely our preferred option if it can be made to work.
