I need to create an online survey. I have access to the entire Articulate Suite, but was wondering which software would be best.
So, the survey - It needs to go out to roughly 1000 people and collect important personal data. I am wondering what the best way would be to enroll learners in the survey... and is there a way to collect the data that is entered by running a report, or exporting to Excel?
Hi Sarah, Articulate doesn't have a survey system (at least not one that's prebuilt). The only data that Articulate truly collects is whether or not a learner pass/failed or if they completed the course. The rest is dependent on what LMS you use.
I would highly recommend using something like Google Docs or Survey Monkey for your purposes. If you use Survey Monkey, you can embed the survey as a web object into Articulate Storyline to load onto your LMS. But really - there's no way for the LMS to know if they actually completed the survey or if they just clicked next and hit a complete button within Storyline itself.
I'd recommend not putting it in Articulate and sending it by email to everyone. Since you need to collect personal info anyways, you can sort out who didn't complete it. Google Docs and Survey Monkey both export to spreadsheet.
