Balancing voice over and background music Jul 31, 2019 By Carol Jackson Hi there, how do I reduce the volume of the music track I've inserted and increase the volume of the voice over? I've tried clicking on the item and pressing edit to drag the volume up or down but it doesn't hold the change after I've saved it. Many thanks Carol

Where/how is the audio? Are those two audio files placed in a SL slide, or are they in one audio file?
I have done the voice over in Articulate and inserted the music

If you're trying to even the volume of both files, you can use the Optimize Audio Volume option in the Publish Quality dialog: https://articulate.com/support/article/Storyline-360-and-Storyline-3-Audio-Quality-Settings-for-Recorded-Narration
