Browser zoom does not make text bigger

I have a silly question, but i thought i would ask anyways. I have my course completed and published, but when my end-user is viewing the course they complain the text size is too small. I am currently using Verdana 10pts and have never had a complaint until now.
Questions
what is the standard font and size being used?
is there any way that when the user hits zoom in on the web browser it will magnify the text within my course?
besides increasing the font size, what other options are there?
Thanks,
MJR

I use 11pt for most text, most of the time, but different fonts have different dimensions so this is not a definitive answer.
You could experiment with trying a larger font or text size. Zooming (Ctrl+Middle mouse button Scroll up) may temporarily make things more clear to your end users, but the analogy of the difference between font size in relation to the overall course dimensions will remain the same, which may be the real reason behind those "compaints" (i.e.text seems too small compared to story size).
Hope this helps,
Alex
I use 20pts as my standard. I try not to go less than that. If I have to use less than 14pts, Then I just have too much stuff going on in the screen and need to rethink my layout.
