Color & Effects changes to the Resource window

Good Afternoon,

I am giving my course a color format and have used the advanced settings to manipulate the Scroll bar, font colors etc... However, when I click on the Resource link, the drop down list of Resources has no background color or fill and the Resource titles overlap the slide and it is very tough to read. I have gone through each adjustment in Advanced Settings but I cannot find the control for the Resource drop down background color. I just watched the tutorial but it doesn't go into that depth... But I did notice that the Resource window in the tutorial had a white background the pops up over the slide. I have attached a screen shot for clarity.
