Is there a built-in way to show the correct and incorrect states for answers in the pick one or pick many built-in questions in Storyline? I know that there is a Drop Correct and Drop Incorrect state, but I need to use Pick One and Pick Many for these questions. The idea is that when the correct or incorrect feedback layer appears, the student will be able to see the correct and incorrect states of the questions. I am using randomization of the choices, so I wanted to see if I could do this without using a lot of variables. Any ideas?
There are no built-in Correct/Incorrect states for selectable items. You would have to create custom states and then add triggers to enable them. See attached a quick example.
That was what I was afraid of! I don't mind using states and variables, but I am trying to wrap my head around how I would output it with the randomization feature native to the pick one and the pick many.

When you use states in the answer choices, they will 'travel" with the choices when randomized.
