Hi, I'm relatively new to storyline but I've been asked to create training on how to use features of a website.
I've just been asked if this training I've created in storyline can be uploaded and accessed on their website - not an LMS site. Is this possible? And if so, how?
Yes, this can be done. The general steps of what you need to do are below:
Publish your project using the, "Web" option
Upload all of the contents of the published folder to the server that your website is hosted on (Make sure you keep the folder structure that was created by Storyline and upload all of the files)
You should then be able to access your course from the website now (via the story.html file, but the full URL will depend on where you place the files on your server)
If you aren't experienced in how to access and upload files to your web server, you may want to get help from the person who administers and maintains the site. It's not difficult, but if you have never done this before, it may seem a little intimidating.
That is the best result I've had all day you wonderful man. Yes, we have the required expertise to achieve the above. Thanks so much for your quick response.
