Like you, I spend a lot of my time cleaning up the prose provided by SMEs. In this Storyline presentation, I give a few tips (and a bit of practice) on revising bloated e-learning prose. Hope you find it helpful.
Hi, all: I've resurrected this 2013 presentation, owing to a request by Suzy Robertson. Here's hoping that -- like Jesus, or The Doors in the early 1980s -- that it comes back from the dead more popular than ever.

You wouldn't believe how quickly I forgot about this. And what a coincidence! Last week, I was asking myself this question again. I have my own way of shortening scripts, but wanted to be able to share what I do with my new team. Then I found my old forum post (Lesson writing and voice-over script standards) from 6 years ago and through a little more searching found a link to one of your presentations with the eLearning Guild. Then, I created a short video showing how to use the Paramedic Method and posted a Vlog on our team's internal site. Thank you so much!
