Design Mapping with a tool you already know

Jan 08, 2013

Hi Everyone,

As you all know David has got a great method of pulling the look and feel of your course template together, Design Mapping. You can see how it works right here: //www.screenr.com/qkU

David uses a nice mindmap tool but for those of us that are not allowed to install software on our company computers or, like me, who simply do not have the patience to figure out how the mindmapping tool works I've created a simple PowerPoint alternative that I've attached to this post.

To get the overview of all you have gathered just select theSlide Sorter view. You can also just switch to presentation mode and use the buttons on the first slide to navigate to your sections.

If your slide isn't big enough to hold all our items just put them off-slide and zoom out a little. They'll all be nicely stored in our PPT file.

Oh, and if you want to use this in your company, you can take out my logo footer in the Slide Master and replace it with your own. As long as you give it away for free

Let me know what you think!

Jeff
