Display text in a different science when a variable changes May 26, 2016 By Tim C I have three buttons that I made into variables. When a user clicks on a button the variable changes from false to true. Based on the selection I want a certain text to display in a new slide or scene. How do I go about this

On button slide the trigger could be Jump to slide / scene x when user clicks button x on condition that variable1=true. On the jumped to slide the trigger could be: Change state of textbox x to normal when timeline starts on this slide on condition that variable1=true or if your text box is on a layer show layer when timeline starts on this slide on condition that variable1=true Hard to say without seeing the setup of the 'jumped to slide/scene' so I am guessing

based on your explanation above.
On button slide the trigger could be
Jump to slide / scene x when user clicks button x on condition that variable1=true.
On the jumped to slide the trigger could be:
Change state of textbox x to normal when timeline starts on this slide on condition that variable1=true or
if your text box is on a layer
show layer when timeline starts on this slide on condition that variable1=true
Hard to say without seeing the setup of the 'jumped to slide/scene' so I am guessing
