Editing Storyline content library template slides

Apr 01, 2020

Hi,

For my project I want to use the "related content interaction" slide from the "Vibrance" template group.  The slide has 6 areas/tabs in the circle to interact with, but I only need 5 interactions.  I deleted one section, re-sized the remaining sections to fit around the circle, and personalized the colors of the template.  But, when I select an interactive section and the slide layer opens, the underlying sections that show on the base layer refer back to the original template format with the original color and section size.  How can I modify this template to fit my needs and maintain my changes to the base layer when opening the triggered layers?

Hi Trish,

Each tab in your circle has two states, Normal and Hover and both of these need to be edited in order for you to have the colour effect you are after. If you only modify the colour scheme of the Normal state (i.e. select the tab on your slide and change its colour to pink) you will still see the original red when you hover over it in Preview.

Original Vibrance colour scheme:

Normal state changed to pink:

Hover state changed to dark pink:

Hope this helps, but if you have any further queries, just get back to me here.
