Finalizing small education module without LMS

Hello,

I am interested in developing <5min education modules without the use of a LMS. I simply want to finalize the module and send the file to my intended audience however it appears the individual receiving the file must extract the file and click on the proper application.

Is there an easier way of finalizing the module in a manner so that the receiver can simply click to open?

I hope my question makes sense.
