First time every screen required, second time open nav

Hi.  I am trying to create a course for which a customer needs to view each screen in order and take a test the first time through, but once the course has been completed and the test passed, they can go back and review and navigate through the course without having to go screen by screen.  Is that possible and if someone has figured it out, how is it done?  Thanks much!  W
