I'll be supplying the music for an upcoming courseware project using Storyline. Could anyone point me to an example of a course that in your opinion makes good use of music?
I am currently working on a Customer Service course, and using music on a lot of the slides that did not need any voiceovers. The course is still a work in process...Let me know what you think.
I always use a 10-second "sting" at the start of the courses I create, mostly to give people time to settle down, and 10-seconds at the end to let them know it has finished!
Have occasionally used music when am displaying a "non-voiced" section, but this is rare.
I recently wanted a very sad and empty feeling for 30-seconds, and used this piece.

Enjoy the course!
This class is part 3 in a 4 part series.

Hi Bruce,
Is the piece of music you provided the link to something that is shareable? Meaning, can I have the source file? =-)
It's available here from musicloops.com.
