Group interaction

May 12, 2018

Hi all,

Is this technically possible with the Articulate 360 suite:-

Let's say I had an elearning module on an LMS and make it available to a group of 20 learners in a virtual classroom supervised by a trainer online. The users access an elearning module and go through this screen by screen.

They then come to a screen asking that asks, "Do you think using NO firewall to protect your computer is A) Of no consequence B) A bad idea or C) Potentially disastrous?" The users have to select one of three buttons on the screen correlating to their choice. After submitting, they see a screen with the RIGHT answer with a reason. After clicking a continue button underneath, they then come to a screen with a Pie-chart showing how the other delegates online made their choice, for example 25% selected A, 25% said B and 50% said C.

Elucidat provides such a system.

Example:-

Now is this possible with Articulate 360 ?

No, not out of the box. Also, you can't be sure that the Elucidat demo is presenting data from other delegates online. It looks to me as if it's presenting pre-prepared statistics for the various choices.

That's not to say they're not capable of mounting a solution that connects online learners, in real time. If they do it within an authoring environment that is accessible and useable by the non-coding power user, independent of sophisticated LMS functionality (even the latter is not all that sophisticated in my experience) I would be impressed.

Something like the functionality you posed IS possible with Storyline but it requires some coding and database support.
