Conditions and variables

Jun 13, 2017

I am building a decision-making interaction where participants have to choose a set of clinical tests they would perform on a sick animal. To stop them simply selecting all to see what the information is, I would like some way to make them commit to the tests they think they will need first, and then see only the test information for those tests they have chosen. I have set the test information state to hidden, but I can't work out how to create a trigger that combines the checkbox and the submit button to change the result to 'show'. I've added a file that probably explains it better!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jean

i've only done triggers for the first two items and I think it's working as expected. Also i deleted the trigger you had set to change the state of the Submit button to selected.  'Selected' state is built in SL state so SL knows to display the 'selected' state and you don't need a trigger.

I'd also suggest you name the objects in your timeline (from text box 13, 14, etc) so you make sure you are triggering the correct objects.

Shout out if I'm not on the right track.
