Hi, I am using Storyline 2 with Absorb. I have written a number of tests in Storyline. I am able to set the number of attempts that people have to take the test in Storyline no problem by using variables. What I would like to do now is allow them to take the test once, or twice, close the test and then when they reopen the test, it retains the fact that they have already taken the test once or twice before. It's this possible without using java script please?
Here is the resume behavior that Phil is referring to, but as he mentioned you'll also want to determine if there is a setting in your LMS that will force the user to "review" the course only once they've reached the completion point. You may want to take a look at this article for ways to modify the behavior, but please note that we don't support modifying the published output.

You would need to set it to always resume, even then if running through an LMS loading a new attempt may overwrite this.
Attempts is really something that should be managed at an LMS level rather than through the scorm package.
