I'm building a course with an eleven point slider bar at the base, each point will tell you something different about the medication labelled at the top of the page. I have one problem, the slicer bar moves with the ball in preview, so I cannot slide to say point 7. how can i lock the slider so as it does not move with the selection ball?
Thanks for the prompt response. I am trying that, but then the slider ball won't move, I thought I could bring the ball to the front layer, then the transparency underneath that and then at the base, the slider rail, so far no joy!

You could put a transparent shape on top of the slider.

Could you share your .story file here so that we can have a closer look?
Give me a minute and I'll delete a lot of the slides and just send you the one slide if that's okay?
Posting the one slide with the slider here should be sufficient.

There was a drag trigger attached to the slider. I remove that and now that slider doesn`t move, only the thumb. See attached.
