We are looking for an experienced eLearning designer-developer to complement the ServiceNow Training Operations team. This candidate must be a very creative and motivated individual who is ready to work in a fast-paced technical environment.  

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality instructional materials for ServiceNow’s internal technical audience.
• Manage end-to-end eLearning projects, including coordinating the activities of geographically-dispersed team members and stakeholders, defining project timelines, identifying priorities for development, and revising content, as appropriate.
• Provide recommendations and innovative solutions for new courses, including design and learning technologies.
• Review existing content and other source materials to design and develop online courseware.
• Create design documents and storyboards that outline the course structure.
• Design and develop additional training objects (assessments, video, job aids, custom graphics, custom learning interactions, templates, etc.).
• Adapt content, such as videos and PowerPoint presentations, for online delivery and blended-learning programs. Ensure continuing adherence to appropriate instructional standards and strategies.
• Upload courses into an LMS, including course descriptions; test and deploy the courses.
• Monitor and report on the success of online courses.
• Gather data that can help with Training Operations’ continuous improvement and assessment of needs.

Experience Required

• Three or more years’ experience developing interactive eLearning and blended learning programs. 
• Training and experience in instructional design principles, practices, and current innovations in the use of technology to support instruction and learning.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, course development methodologies (ISD, ADDIE, Mager), and Kirkpartick's training evaluation levels.
• Experience working with highly technical content, preferably complex software systems.
• Expertise in using an eLearning development tool, Articulate Storyline strongly preferred.  
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and effectively while prioritizing and handling multiple tasks.
• Ability to coordinate projects, including creating timelines and meeting deadlines.
• Strong eLearning design creativity and flexibility.
• Ability to interpret client needs.
• Extensive and direct experience working with learning management systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Knowledgeable in the following: 
• HTML and CSS
• Graphic design concepts and practices
• Voice-over and sound editing
• Video production and script writing
• Courseware design for mobile delivery is a plus

Education:

• Masters degree in Instructional Design or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
