How can I force the learner to wait until the narration is complete before proceeding? I still want them to click Next to continue, so Presentation-style is not preferable.
Probably the simplest way to do that would be to make a trigger that sets the Next button to "Disabled" when the timeline starts, then another to set it to "Normal" when the timeline ends.
You'd also want to hide the seekbar if you have one, otherwise they could just click and drag it over instantly to the end.
This would prevent them from progressing onward until the narration is finished, unless there is an unrestricted menu system for them to skip through.
There is a setting in Presenter 13 that enables you to lock the navigation until the slides finish.
You can find it by clicking the player tab >menu. There is a little wheel icon. Click it to locate the Navigation Restriction dropdown list. Select the Locked or Restricted option.
I think the restricted option just locks learner from going forward the first time the view the slide so might be the best option.

Thank you, Joseph! Am I able to make triggers using Articulate 13?
Hi Tina,
I believe that would be a Storyline2 only thing: https://www.articulate.com/products/storyline-studio.php
Okay. Thank you!
