Hotspot or Dial
Dec 29, 2018
I am creating a slide where the learner will be introduced to a theory that has six characteristics. The order of the information about each component is not essential. What is important is that they review all six. The audience, for the most part, is college students and young professionals. I have thought that a dial or hotspots on an infographic with the characteristics could work. I am leaning toward hotspot because I feel the dial is a little gimmicky. I would like to hear some other opinions or suggestions on this matter.

Instead of hotspots you might want to use transparent shapes. Hotspots do not have states. If you want to check if all six characteristics have been viewed, you could use the Visited state of each transparent state.
Thanks for the suggestion!
