How are you offering your courses in Android?

May 18, 2012

This is not specifically an Articulate-related question, but I am entirely stumped on this one and looking to find some creative input and engagement within this active community of educational developers and designers...

What application/platform is your University using to support Android compatible educational content offerings such as lecture files (MP4s) and audio recordings (MP3s) so that they can be downloadable and available to students who want to access content remotely?

We are currently using iTunes University to supply iPad and iPhone users with such content, but I have yet to find a direct solution for mobile delivery on Androids. I have explored Youtube Edu, but this does not permit for downloadable files. Google Music/Video and Amazon Music/Video are obviously geared for independent artists, and not for educational institutions.

In short, has anyone found an iTunes-like equivalent for Android? I appreciate your responses!
