I have seen a lot of graphics that have a background, which is the same shape as the original image, "behind" it, in white. Like a cutout. Slightly bigger. Like a border.
Is there a really simple way to produce these, bearing in mind I am graphic-softwarely challenged?
Ha, I never create new image with background, which mean “cutout”, I'm not sure which kind of image creating application you are using, if it is necessary, you can try what I using now, the new-created image can be in the form of png, jpeg, gif, tiff and bmp.

David,

Thanks again.
With some basic Photoshop skills you can also use this to automate the process.
Hope it helps,
Alex
