I have an 80 hour classroom course that a client wants converted to online courses. They want a Level 3 (lots of interactivity/animation.) Can anyone estimate how many hours a user can expect to spend online to correspond to the material covered by one hour of classroom instruction?
Don't know if it's true but i have heard a factor of 2,7. Meaning that for 80 classroomshours you need about 30 online. (Could have been the other way around as well but 216 hours seems to much)

I normally estimate losing anything upto 75%
