how to publish questions for LMS

May 09, 2017

Hi, I am working on a website project with moodle as LMS.

I want to upload MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) in a way that each website page should have one question.

The aim is that to move on to next Question a student has to click NEXT.

1. ) I dont know that when a student clicks NEXT tab, can a new question appear there on same page or a new/next webpage will show the next question?

2.) To achieve above, which storyline publish option I have to choose so that it is supported by moodle.

3.) If I use powerpoint to make MCQs and import that in Articulate storyline, should one powerpoint file has only one question or should one powerpoint file has all the questions in order to achieve the aim.

4.) If anyone has moodle knowledge, can the above be achieved in moodle directly or do I need articulate ?

I need help on this as I am stuck since few days and not getting any proper answer. Please help !

Thanks.

Hi Muhammad,

Here are my answers to your questions:

1. Each question will be a new slide or "page".

2. You should choose the LMS option and then SCORM 1.2 or 2004 (I'm not sure which version of SCORM Moodle supports. You'll need to get that information from your LMS admin or from the Moodle website)

3. Each question should be on a separate slide. If you haven't started yet, it would be easier and faster to create your questions directly in Storyline. Otherwise another option would be to create your questions in the Excel template that's available on this page.

4. I'm not able to answer this question. Hopefully someone in the community can help you here.

Hope that helps! :)
