How would you do?

Aug 23, 2017

hello. maybe you have a good designtip for me. I ahve an slide with three buttons that direct them to three different slides. On the three slides i want them to be able to click on the same sort of buttons and than be able to direct them to next slide. I want them to be able to choose witch button ( slide ) they want to visit first and next and so on.  ( i don´t want to use layers for this thouhgh my experience is that it lags" with audio and a lot of photos within layers ) So how can i let my learnerschoose slide but still visiting all three slides before they can move to the nextslide?

Hi Tanja,

You could put a trigger on the next button on your "menu" slide (the one with the 3 buttons leading to the other slides) that says jump to (slide after the 3 slides) when the user clicks on the condition that the state of (all 3 buttons) is equal to visited.

Let me know if that works the way you're wanting it to! :)

Hi Tanja,

This may not be exactly what you're looking for/particularly helpful, but here is a sample of a branching page I built for a client that has 4, not 3, buttons and forces users to click them in a certain order. Still, it's similar to what you describe and may give you some ideas. I think the key may be to use variables as Allison suggested.
