I need help

Jul 29, 2013

Good morning,

I am developing a course with this application and I have a question.

First I would like to know if it is possible to determine the onset of a button to score a student obtains a quizz. I need you at the end of the quizz repeat buttons appear (if the student gets less than 80%) or continue (if the student obtains 80% or more), do not know if this is possible and if possible how is it done?.

On the other hand, I need the course not to be completed until the student clicks a button to accept included in the final screen of course. This means that no end by clicking the red cross browser if clicking a close button on the last screen of the course.

Thank you,

Hi,

I made a sample in Storyline (which I'm guessing you are using, if you are using Quizmaker then sorry!)

I set the Retry Quiz button to start as hidden and to change the state of the button to Normal whenever the results slide displays if the score percent is less than 80% as a condition.

I wasn't sure what the second part was looking for, could you expand on that a little?

Nice work, Sara.

Laura, another option, perhaps for future use, is to limit the learner's options by selecting what you put on the "success" and "failure" layers a question bank generates.

For example, on the success layer, you could place a "continue" button, but on the "failure" layer, you could place a "re-take" button or what have you. Anyway, just a slightly different option. Welcome to the forums. --Daniel
