Importing Templates

I have been trying to download templates that I find in the community and wonder if I am missing some key elements. I can import a download that shows up in my Documents but it doesn't show in "My Templates" in Storyline 360. All I have found in searching for answers is for Storyline 2: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-2/articles/working-with-templates#creating
Is there a better source for SL360?
Thanks!

I think the issue is that most of them are not set up as templates. Templates have a .storylinetemplate extension. If you check the files that you downloaded they probably have a .story extension.
If you want to use them as templates open the files in storyline and then do a save as and select the .storylinetemplate option. you should then be able to import them as templates as outlined in the link you have referenced.
Hi Don. Nancy's explanation is spot on. In the past when we've shared actual template files in the community, it's been confusing to many. So most of the project files labeled as templates are not saved in a template file format. Sorry for the confusion!
Thanks,
I have gotten a few of them to work now and very much appreciate the help!
