Infographic - Hiding the layer (reverting to base layer) when timeline ends - not working

I added a movie to one of my layers on an infographic. Everything is working fine except for the timeline on the movie layer. I want to hide the movie layer when the timeline stops and have it revert back to the base layer. I've tried triggers that hide the layer when the timeline ends, I've tried stopping it at a cue point (hiding the layer) but it doesn't work in the preview. I also thought maybe it just didn't work during the preview but it doesn't work online either

Can someone help me figure out what I am missing?

Without seeing the file, I'd create a trigger to hide layer when media completes.
I'd also consider a button on top of the video to hide the layer when they click the button in case they jump into the layer by mistake and don't want to watch the video again.
