Help I need some good music/sounds to play for the introduction of a course. Something kinda fun and catchy, with no words of course...does anyone know a good place on the internet to find small sound bits that you can download for such purposes? Thanks.
Have you looked at the music (Sounds) available through Microsoft Clip Art in PowerPoint? We've used a couple of tunes there for a few courses.
One key for us is to keep the music intros short and snappy (we've edited a couple down with Audacity)--anything too long and some learners may get antsy, bored, or feel it's superflous. So we also sometimes have the narration start a few bars into the intro music. Most often some kind of welcome to the course message.
