I have some video that I shot on my iPhone that I am trying to insert into a course in Storyline 2. The problem? I shot the video with the phone in a vertical position rather than horizontal. So, when I insert the video into Storyline 2, it is essentially on its side. I've been trying to rotate the video, but am not having any luck. Is there a way to rotate the video so that the image is positioned correctly?!?
If you want to use the video controls you would need to rotate the video in another program, not sure if Replay will do this but something like screen flow or camtasisa will.
Hi Phil - thanks for that advice. One additional question please… while I’m rotating, I am also converting the file to a different format. Is there a format that works best in Storyline2? AVI? MP4? other?

yes, sort of, just group it with another object and rotate the group
Group your video with a transparent shape and then rotate the group. Once you preview/publish, the videowill be rotated as part of the group.
This works. :)
I had the same issue because of iPhone video shooting and can now rotate it... thanks for the advice.
But, how can I make it so the video controls don't also rotate? They are now on the side and I'd like them to be on the bottom.

Great! Thanks for the ideas!

I tried this without success. The object I grouped keep rotating around the picture but the latter doesn't rotate.
