Issue with callout border in a translated course

The attached image is from a tablet. This is one of eight languages translated from an original English version using Word export and import versus XLIFF. Only two of the languages are having this issue. Has anyone experienced this and if so, have you found a reason and/or solution?

I wouldn’t be able to tell without seeing the file, but my first guess is that there’s a white background in the callout’s text box and the text box is not set to Resize Shape to Fit Text, so what you’re seeing is overflowing text, which of course would be common after a translation import given the differing amounts of text in each language.
If that is the case, you can right click on the text box and go to Format Shape > Text Box and choose to set it to resize the shape to fit the text, shrink the text to fit, or leave it set to not autofit so you can adjust it manually.
