Job Description
- Collaborate with team members to produce engaging and instructionally appropriate learning materials for face-to-face, online and hybrid delivery.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of a learning project meet learner needs and company expectations.
- Manage the development of assigned learning projects through all phases of instructional design process.
- Select and apply instructional design models that reflect an understanding of adult learning principles to the design and delivery of learning materials.
- Storyboard, design and develop learning materials including, but not limited to, eLearning courses, tutorials, learning guides, and job aids.
- Write instructional content as needed for learning projects.
- Facilitate live training sessions in person or through virtual meeting software (e.g. WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc.).
- Partner with team members to formulate instructional design standards.
Job Requirements (partial list)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Training & Development, Organizational Development or related field preferred or equivalent discipline and/or training.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring software (e.g. Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Lectora Inspire, TechSmith Camtasia).
- Experience with Articulate Storyline preferred.
- Proficiency in image editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop).
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
