I plan to develop this more, but thought I would share the work in progress. It's a 1970s newsroom inspired theme. The files can be downloaded and here is a link to how it looks. You can modify how the newscaster looks, but my eventual aim is to include a selection of facial features and a female newscaster version, some set options ect. My sample video is a little longer and hard to read, but was mostly included to illustrate how the monitor over the anchor's should would appear.
You did great job creating this template. I love the depth and the fact that video will play beautifully in the box in the upper right-hand corner. Only one suggestion - make the background a little lighter because it's a tad distracting. My two cents...
What I am thinking of doing (I been playing with it the past week), is putting all of the art assets into flash, so I can animate it so the point I want, and then export out different layers to import into powerpoint. Hope to have revision 2 up soon.

Yeah, a lot of it is work in progress, and the background and general set dressing will be changed (and given options) as time goes by.
