Maintaining a layer while displaying another layer
Jul 31, 2017
This slide has several layers, including some differential diagnoses layer such as:
Exactly midline choice
Not exactly midline...
in which several buttons allow to see other layers.
How can I leave the differential diagnosis layer visible under the image that is picked ? Can I set some variable to do that ?
I want to combine the buttons of the differential diagnosis layer temporarily with the image on the layer called by each button, as if the "differential diagnosis layer" was a "base layer"
Of course I could split the whole slide in many slides and cut and paste the various layers, but I was looking for a more elegant way !
I know I still need to do many changes so that the brown buttons don't need to be clicked just hover over, and add some "return" buttons...
thanks for suggestions !

Hi Philippe
have you tried playing around with the layer properties and unchecking the 'hide other slide layers' checkbox?
Yes, actually what i need is just the opposite: the ability to SHOW the layer on which a button was clicked...
Looking at your example I think Wendy's solution is correct.
If any layer has hide other slide layers selected it will hide all of the layers below it. You may be better deselecting this option and adding triggers to hide those layers you don't wish to see.
