Is there a way to highlight a hotspot whenever the mouse hovers over it or make the hotspot glow? I am looking for a way to alert the user to the location of the hotspot without using text.
Hotspots as a general rule can't be filled in, highlighted, or changed. They are meant to be invisible markers that trigger other things to happen. What you could do is when the learner hovers over the hotspot, have a shape or image appear or change color. I think that would get you the effect you are looking for!
Hi Judy, depending on how you are planning to use the hotspot, you could create your own hotspot and use a 100% transparent shape instead with a hover glow. You can then customise any triggers to this 'invisible shape'. But I guess it really depends on how you want to use the hotspot.
