Hello everyone. It's really important for one of my potential clients to have his courses approved by state agencies, and one of the non-negotiable requirements is: ""Participants should not be able to skip through the program and take completion exam without experiencing/reading course materials."
How would you recommend handling this requirement for asynchronous eLearning courses?
Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences and ideas!
This is a fairly common request, especially when it comes to compliance e-learning. While that's not always an optimal learning experience, sometimes it's necessary. Most authoring apps--including all of the authoring apps in Articulate 360--have options that make this possible.
I know about the locked Continue button in Rise, but that seems like it wouldn't really work well for slides that don't have audio or an interaction.
Is there a way to lock lesson navigation so people cannot move forward to the next lesson without completing the previous ones in a module?
Please advise.
In Rise 360 you can also lock the navigation in the course settings. If you still feel like that's not enough, you could try developing your course in Storyline 360.

Does that answer your question? Let me know! :)
