Can anyone help me what is the best way to convert a learning resource from word to scorm. It is a 100 page document with 10 chapter and got quiz at the end of each chapter.
If you want to keep this in document format it would be best just to create a PDF and post it as a resource on your LMS. You could pull the quiz questions out and copy and paste them to Articulate Quizmaker which is Scorm compliant.
Then just instruct people to read the doc and then answer the questions.
As far as I am conerned, scorm is a platform for online reading and learning with the source file in epub format, right? You want to convert a learning resource from word to scorm, which is a 100 page document with 10 chapter and got quiz at the end of each chapter? That means you want to convert Word to an epub file, like txt, audio, web page. As to convert word to a epub file, word to pdf is the best solution at present for the widly used situation.

Do you just want to keep it as a 100-page document, or are you trying to create a course?

Can the document be split into several PDF documents?
If so,
Create a question slide, insert one of the newly created PDF documents as a web object, and have your question on the same slide.
A correct answer can take you to the next slide, with the 2nd chapter (or whatever) as a PDF web object, and have yet another question.
Save as a SCORM compliant course and the questions will be graded as a test.
*I had a similar issue with wanting to have a PDF document and an acknowledgement box that user read/reviewed it.

You don't need a PDF converter for a Mac as it is built into the OS just print to PDF
