Mixing UX and Learning

I am at an interesting crossroads within my organization and I'm hoping I can pick the collective's brain for some tips and tricks!

I have recently been moved to the experience team within my organization and will be focusing on blending user experience and learning to create delightful learning experiences within our software platform. This new role will allow me to have a direct impact to improve important business objectives like improving user retention and overall customer satisfaction within my organization.

Are there any people out there in similar positions who are combining user experience and learning? If so are there any career paths, position titles, or skill sets that are related to this subset? I am in an extremely unique and exciting opportunity where I can essentially carve out whatever path I choose  as well as title I would like to have.
