I am trying to create a slide that when you click either the "left" or "right" button multiple objects would rotate depending on the direction with the closer object being larger in the foreground and the subsequent objects appearing smaller as you move toward the background. I have included a beginning slide to assist. Thank you for your input.
Have you looked into using the Move trigger? Using that action would allow you to dictate movements from user interactions and apply variables for resizing, color, etc.
I would like the shape to resize itself as it moves along a motion path once initiated by either a trigger or button. I want the learner to see the gradual increase or decrease in size. Any thoughts? If you are able to create this, please share. Thank you.
One way is to create the shape into xnumber of images that represents growth. You could have a slider that as it is dragged the shapes will change. Different approach, can you attach two animations - one being a zoom and the other being a path animation? The differences are that the first idea provides you the ability to attached pop-ups, text or other information associated with each image stage as you move the slider. The second approach is an animation in which you will need to assign variables and triggers to manipulate changes and layers. I think it is a matter of time & effort on your part and the end value.
My apologies for not being clear as this is a concept in my head that I am trying to recreate. I am trying to create a carousel effect in storyline 2 that does not utilize the slider. My thought would be that there is information on each object and as you rotate through the animation, the information would appear larger or smaller depending on the button pressed. You would be able to scroll left or right, and depending on which way you went, the items would either become larger in the forefront of the screen or appear smaller in the background. The information will follow that specific shape throughout. I found posts for an engage creation and for a slider effect but it does not meet what I am looking to accomplish. With motion path, it does not allow for an object to grow or shrink in size. As for the zoom, I am unable to show growth and shrinkage.
In the state of your progression, would you be able to create 'if' statement triggers to call to different states of the objects? States having variations of size for a zoom in/out effect, etc.

Hope that helps

Sorry that I misread your intentions.
