I am making a slide whereby I want to move object after it has been dragged, condition to the fact that it should move from the new location (i.e; from the location where it is now after being dragged.) is it possible?
Its a simple slide and move animation, I just want the object to move from the point wherever user has dragged it but not from the initial path assigned.
I had a look at your file and I think I was able to get it working the way you'd like. Here's what I did:
1. Added the "relative start point" setting to the motion path (see screenshot)
2. Added a hotpot and made it the correct answer or the "drop target"
3. Added a "drop correct" state to the world icon. I changed the color of the globe in this state just so I could verify it was working, but you can revert the formatting back to normal if you'd like.
4. Opened the drag-and-drop options (available in the ribbon when you're in form view) and unchecked the last box (see screenshot)
I've attached my file. Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Hi Asad,
I'm not sure I totally understand what you're trying to do here. Are you able to share your file?

The storyline file is attached.
Thanks
