Multiple paths for a learner

Sep 15, 2015

Hi,

I want to create a multi-pathed (I realise it isn't a word) Quiz which can take them on their own path to the end of the quiz.

I will give them the starting context around a conversation with their staff and then i want them to go through it as they think best, with the outcome at the end of what may happen if they chose this path.

Does anyone have any examples of this as a starting point or maybe a template of how to do this.

Thanks

Hi Grant!

There are a few ways to accomplish this.

If you need reporting, and therefore, must use quiz slides, you could use the incorrect/correct slide layers to automatically direct the learners. For example, if on the first question, they get the answer correct, add a trigger to jump to x slide. However, if they get it incorrect, jump to y slide.

If you don't need reporting, you wouldn't need to use quiz slides. You could use shapes and text to create the answer choices and link each answer choice to jump to a specific slide.

Here is a branching scenarios design map that may help.

Keepin' the joy,
Patti
