I frequently need to edit narration and sync voice-overs with on-screen actions, and I need to do it so that I don't disturb my cubicle neighbors. Could someone recommend some noise-cancelling, over-the-ear headphones, please? Earbuds seem to cause ear trouble, so over-the-ear is important. I'd love some that will play well with my iPhone, desktop PC, and Blue Raspberry mic (when I get it ;-D). What kind do you use, and do you love them?
I too use Sennheiser, however, a lot of people in studios never actually go for the full "noise-cancelling" mode, often just using one ear "fully on", so that you can also hear the surrounding noise, That's how I work in my studio, I guess it depends on how tuned-in you are to the sound, and how much noise there is!
