Next button acting funny in SL2

Hi,

I have a funny issue with my Next button. It expects me to click it 4 times to proceed to the next slide. I checked the FORUM for a similar issue and found that the reasons provided there is not the reason for this issue.

I have custom Next and Prev buttons. As the client requested for a flashing Next button when timeline ends, I created a Next layer in the slide master. In this Next layer the Next button is provided with Fade in/out anim (timeline is 1sec) and will jump to next slide on click.

This is working fine for all my slides, except for this one slide. Any ideas what could be wrong.

can you upload the story file and say which slide you are having trouble with - easier for someone to help if they can see your setup

Hi Wendy,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I am sorry but I can't upload the file. I just found that when my friend published the SL file in an older version of SL2 update 4, it worked fine.

I currently have update 8 ...
